The Moon Became Like Blood

images-1Revelation 6:12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.

Joel 3:23 “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.”

There is a unique phenomenon that will be taking place soon. On the Passover of 2015 (April 4) there will be a total lunar eclipse where the moon will be red. Two weeks earlier, on Nisan 1, the beginning of the religious year when Moses set up the tabernacle and the glory of God fell, there will be a total solar eclipse.

Then, of that same year, six months later, a partial eclipse will happen on Tishri 1, the first day of the Jewish calendar, Rosh Hashanah, September 14, 2015. That will be the day that closes out the Jewish Sabbatical year.

Finally, fifteen days later, on the Feast of Tabernacles, September 28, 2015, there will be another lunar eclipse where the moon will be red again.

Could this be a sign of something significant? You search the scriptures and conclude for yourself.

Could this be what John saw in Revelation 6?

A second fact is that the above two lunar eclipses, April 4 and September 28 of 2015 and April 15 and October 9 of 2014. Having four blood-red moons back-to-back are rare, especially on Jewish Holidays. The last time this happened was in 1967/1968 when Jerusalem we recaptured. Before then was 1949/1950, just after Israel became a nation.

The last time this took place on Jewish holidays was in the 14th century. So, what could happen in 2014/2015 significant to Israel? Or, could it be the second coming of Christ?

If 2015 is when Christ returns to Earth, then a pre-tribulation rapture would have to occur no later than this fall and the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot. That would be October 3, 2009. Could this be it? Jesus did say to watch and pray. Let’s do just that.
