Seeds of Persuasion

Matthew 27:20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitudes that they should ask for Barabbas and destroy Jesus.

The Chief Priests and Elders planted seeds and watched them grow.

According to Mark 14 some of the disciples complained that a woman waisted expensive oil on Jesus. But, John reveals in John 12 that the true culprit was Judas. He planted the seed in the hearts of the disciples and it grew.

Paul challenged never to let the sun go down upon your wrath.  Why?  Because he understood that ill feelings will grow. It’s like a seed that germinates.

  1. i learnt an important lesson on friday, from you
when another person disagrees with you
it is useless to try to argue
the better method is, do not argue
gain that person’s trust first (seeds of persuasion?) and then reveal to him your side of the story .. by that time it will be more convincing
